Before You Travel
We’re delighted to be welcoming you to Escapade Silverstone. To help your arrival run smoothly, please carefully read the following information about parking, access routes, and check-in procedures, especially as road layouts and venue access will be affected during the event. Ensure your event tickets are downloaded and ready for scanning on arrival.
Parking Permits & Arrival Routes
Each residence will automatically receive two parking permits in advance. In addition, you’ll be allocated one extra permit for every four guests visiting your residence. These permits are essential for accessing Car Park 38 (CP38) and must be clearly displayed in your vehicle at all times, particularly at the RED Route security checkpoint, to avoid fines.
Please don’t rely on SATNAV or GPS for directions, as temporary road closures may affect routes, instead, follow the official event signage and instructions provided below.
Ticketing and Venue Access
All event tickets for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix are digital and must be presented via the Silverstone Ticket App on your mobile device. You’ll need your ticket to access the circuit, Inner Track, and your hospitality area, where applicable, so please ensure it’s ready on arrival. Make sure to download the Silverstone Ticket App.

Arrivals & Parking
Thursday Arrivals
Arrival Route & Parking:
Between 6am - 6pm
For arrivals before 6pm, please follow the RED* Route directly to Car Park 38 (CP38).
Between 6pm - 10pm (Thursday only)
The RED Route will be outbound only from 6pm. Instead, as you approach Silverstone follow the ORANGE* route until you see the WHITE triangle. This white triangle will access Escapade via Winterhills Road in Silverstone Village. The route to Escapade will be clearly signposted and will lead directly to Car Park 38 (CP38).
*Please note: These are countryside access routes and may not be suitable for very low-profile vehicles.
** Please avoid using SATNAV/GPS as temporary road closures mean it may not be accurate.**
Luggage Scanning & Check-in Process:
When you arrive at Car Park 38, your luggage will need to go through scanners. Porters will be there to help you. Please stay with your bags after they're scanned. Once cleared, your luggage will be labelled, and you can drive directly to your residence via vehicle Gate 8 from Car Park 38. Upon arrival at your driveway, our team will meet you to provide your passes, room keys, and scan your event tickets.
Residence Parking Restriction:
Once you park your vehicle at your residence on Thursday, it needs to stay in that spot until Monday. You cannot move your vehicle internally (within the site) after 10pm on Thursday or at any time during the event. The site vehicle gates will close sharply at 10pm on Thursday. Make sure you arrive before then. You can only enter on Thursday between 10am and 10pm.
If you need to leave in your vehicle after 10pm on Thursday, we recommend parking in Car Park 38. You can then use the pedestrian Gate 9, which is open 24 hours, to access your vehicle.
Vehicle Movement During the Event (Off-Site):
Cars parked in residence driveways cannot be moved during the event. However, if you have opted to park in Car Park 38 instead, and you need to leave site during the event, you can only do so during the operating hours of the one-way traffic system. The hours are as follows:

• Friday 5am - 3pm
• Saturday 5am - 3pm
• Sunday 5am - 3pm
Exit Only
• Thursday 6pm - 10pm
• Friday 3pm - 10pm
• Saturday 3pm - 10pm

Friday, Saturday and Sunday Arrivals
Arrival Route & Parking:
Between 6am - 2.30pm
For arrivals between 6am - 2.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, please follow the RED* Route directly to Car Park 38 (CP38). This is your designated parking area. The RED Route is a one-way inbound route during these hours.
Between 3pm - 10pm
At 3pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the RED Route becomes outbound only. There is no easy direct route to Car Park 38 due to ongoing traffic management, bus operations, and essential site movements. You will need to follow the brown signs until you see a purple triangle, then continue to follow the purple triangle until you can pick up the RED Route again, which will lead you to Car Park 38. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this route.
On Saturday and Sunday there will be no entry after 3pm, as all traffic will be outbound.

Luggage Scanning & Check-in Process:
Upon arrival at Car Park 38, your luggage will need to go through our luggage scanners. Porters will be there to help you. Once your bags are cleared, please leave them with the porters; they'll label them and deliver them directly to your residence. After parking, walk to our welcome desk via pedestrian Gate 9. Our team there will be ready to give you your passes and room keys, and scan your event tickets.

Arriving by Helicopter
Book a helicopter charter or shuttle for the ultimate arrival. Air Charter Service offers bespoke helicopter charters from your preferred location, or by-the-seat shuttles from Turweston to Silverstone.
Arriving by Taxi or Chauffeur (Day Guests Only)
For arrivals by taxi, your drop-off point is CP26. Please make sure to request a taxi guide and pass in advance by emailing [email protected]. If you require any accessibility assistance, kindly mention this when making your booking. Returning taxis must be booked on-site before 3pm daily due to our one-way traffic system.
If you're arriving with a chauffeur, they'll need a CP38 pass and will drop you off and pick you up at the same location. Due to our one-way systems, we recommend chauffeurs remain on-site; welfare facilities are available at CP24.
Day Guest Information
To ensure a smooth arrival for your day guests, please provide their full names to us as soon as possible. The deadline for submitting guest names is 5pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, and you can email them to [email protected].
Regarding parking, in addition to your allocated resident car passes, you'll receive one extra car parking permit for Car Park 38 (CP38) for every four day guests attending your residence.
Upon arrival at Escapade, day guests must collect their passes from the dedicated welcome desk and wear them throughout their visit. Day guests are welcome to access Residences between 9am and 7pm, and we kindly request that all day guests depart the site by 7pm. Please note that our dinner service and wellness facilities are exclusively for overnight guests. However, all guests are welcome to access The Gallery during the day, provided they have a confirmed table booking.
Escapade Passes
Your passes and wristbands are your key to a smooth and enjoyable Grand Prix experience! All guests will receive passes and wristbands. These must be worn at all times to enter Escapade and access relevant areas.
Full Weekend Guests will get full weekend passes. Day Guests and Owners Not Staying Over will receive passes for their specific day(s).
Thursday Evening Live Auction
75 Years of Formula 1: The Ultimate British GP Live Auction at Escapade Silverstone
Celebrating 75 years of Formula 1, this auction presents a collection of exclusive, rare items, featuring Formula 1 show cars, signed race helmets, unique race wear, one-of-a-kind items, and car parts from the most coveted drivers and teams in Formula 1 history.

Throughout the Formula 1 British Grand Prix weekend, we will be offering a specially curated set menu in The Gallery, designed to provide a delicious and efficient dining experience during the busy event. The days start with a continental breakfast selection and conclude with a three-course set dinner menu. Tables bookings are required.

Getting Around
Please be aware that vehicle movement across the site is heavily restricted throughout the event due to one-way systems, safety protocols, and essential operational routes. Once you’ve arrived and parked your vehicle at your residence or designated parking area, you’ll need to travel around the venue on foot to access other areas such as hospitality suites, grandstands, and event attractions.
No internal vehicle movement is permitted after 10pm on Thursday, or at any point during the event weekend.
Accessibility
Silverstone Circuit is a large venue, and navigating the site involves considerable walking. If you have accessibility needs or require assistance, please contact us via email at [email protected] or phone 01327 225500 as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Gallery and Roof Deck Access
Pre-Booking Essential: Access to the Gallery and Roof Deck areas is strictly by prior booking only due to capacity constraints. No access will be granted without a confirmed booking. Please ensure you have made your reservations in advance if you wish to utilise these areas.

Pets
For the safety of all guests, staff, and those working on the live race track, pets are not permitted anywhere on site. Due to the nature of the event, including fast-moving vehicles, operational zones, loud noises and large crowds, Silverstone is not a suitable environment for animals.

Prohibited Items
Guests must not bring Prohibited Items including weapons, narcotics or any promotional, commercial, or advertising banners, signs or brochures, bicycles, electronic bikes or scooters. For a full list of Escapade’s prohibited items, please see here.
Dress Code
A smart casual dress code applies to all guests in Escapade Silverstone. Jeans are welcome, but must be smart in appearance – no rips, tears, or bleaching. Smart shorts are permitted during hot weather. Team merchandise is also allowed. For guests in Escapade, please note the dress code is more relaxed. We recommend bringing sun protection, as weather conditions can vary. Footwear should be clean and suitable for outdoor conditions, as some car parks have grass surfaces. Smart trainers are Permitted.
